Mercure QianMen Hotel Beijing is an inn located in the commercial district of Qianmen and Chongwenmen, which will provide you with a unique experience in Beijing and embark on an unforgettable journey. Our store is located at No. 77 Qianmen Coal Market Street. During the mid Qing Dynasty, Coal Market Street gradually developed into a food street, and now it is a bustling commercial area adjacent to Dashilan The previous name of this store was Coal Market Street Second Hotel, which was a must pass for business travelers During the Qing Dynasty, this shop had an accounting room and a registration office, which was a necessary registration point for coal transportation in and out of the imperial palace. This shop was built in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, with an unknown exact date. It has a history of over a hundred years. The four words 'Changyuan Guest House' at the entrance were used to update the appearance of the street during the 2008 Olympic Games. These four words bring back the light. Accompanied by a couplet: 'Gathering guests from all directions, the source of the Nine Prefectural Goods Springs comes.' The 'Xuannan Hongxue Tuzhi' also specifically describes the prosperity of the Changyuan Guest House in the past. In 2015, in response to the 'Cultural Relics Law,' the Changyuan Guest House underwent a comprehensive renovation. During the renovation process, it was discovered that this was connected by four independent courtyards, which was also an architectural miracle at that time and has now been listed as an immovable cultural relic in Xicheng District. The guest rooms are well-equipped with high-tech graphene underfloor heating, Simmons mattresses, and ultra intelligent Enshi sanitary ware, making them a must visit destination for your travels in Beijing!
